Go figure. I have 4 plants total and one is already flowering. I think some strains just mature faster. I would'nt worry about it just enjoy.

Someone I used to know, grew a indica strain and they said it would mature in 3.5 months and he would start the plants in july, maybe somehow you plant has a strain kinda like that one my friend had, or somehow the sunlight has started to get blocked off at some point in the day and made it think its in 12/12 mode, im not really sure tho... but i wouldnt complane

It's all about genetics, strains and where the parents of your seeds grew up. I have 26 plants in the ground right now, a real mixture of indica, sativa and pointsbetween - a week ago a few of them were starting to show some so-called pre-flowers - males and females. This past weekend I went back and all but 6 are clearly identifiable as to gender because they are preflowering - preflowering is a loose term - basically anytime the flowers appear prior to actual bud formation I call preflowers - they can still get pollinated (the girls) or pollinate (the boys). Two of the females are really starting to form more than preflowers - little buds are starting (not much in the way of trichomes - crystals though) - so it's totally within the realm of normal cannabis growth to be flowering here and there in July. At least you know their genders now...

Wish I had that problem.. My three Sativa's are 3 ft tall at a month and a half old from seed. They arent even showing alternating nodes yet. Maybe you got a special plant there.
