I started to train my girl about a week ago, late, but I was told its never to late. Well needless to say,my girl has to main branches comming from the stem,a kind of "Y" shape if you will,I tied the two main stalks apart to openup the middle to more sunlight, which has helped greatly over the last week.all the smaller shaded leaves have florished BUT Last night when I was going to tie/train some of the other small branches out from my plant I noticed that the main stalk has split about 1cm down the middle of the "Y",either I was too forceful with training,or it couldn't handle the wieght. She looks healthy and perked up as usual with the morning sunlight, but I am afraid I may have just started the end to my girls life!!! What to do???????I untied the branches, but is there anything else I should do? perhaps bind the stalk at the split????? Please, any advise will be considered!!

![]() | Take some electrical tape and wrap around the split so that both sides are touching. It will grow back together. You will have a "scar" there, but it is naot a big deal. peace | ||

![]() | SaS is absolutely correct - and don't substitute string for nice strong, stretchy, waterproof electrical tape - you need the give.
