![]() | hey how you doing. Lately I have been very interested in growing. I read and read and can never get enough. Im going to start growing soon but I have a few questions to ask. Im going to type my idea for an outdoor plot. feel free to write back any thing that would make my plot better. first, I would shove 4 stakes into the ground. I would dig 2 large hole to fit 2 large pots. I would put the pots int he holes I dug. then I would go to agway or franks or anything in that nature of an agricultural stroe and buy a opaqued transparents type of tarp. which let the UV rays through to simulate a green house. Do they really sell these? How much are they? then i woudl go to my spot which gets alot of sunlight and thrpough the tarp over the 4 stakes so that it coverd the pot toally. this wold be a grennhosue and help the plant to grow. now, I dont know if I woudl be able to get back there to look at the plant to water it evryday or when needed and the tarp would prevent watering the plant. Which is prob good becasue if the plant got rained on at night this woudn't be good. So what could I do to make my plot better. is there anything im issing. some help with watering would be good too. would this plot work. when woudl be the best time to start, summer right, when the sun is out longest. could I do it in spring. Sorry, I hae a lod of questions! any help is appreciated.

![]() | I kinda fall into the same catagory as you, I havent started growing yet, but I have been reading and planning left and right. One question I have is where your plot is located, like not what city its in or anything, but what type of area? If someone just stumbles across it and sees a big plastic tarp over some plants in the middle of know where, I think you are pretty much busted. I'm sure you can grow some really good plants without doing the whole tarp thing, and just having your plants a little more incognito. The only way I can see using a green house type thing is if it will help cover your plants, like on your property or something, but I dont think its a good idea for out in the woods or wherever your plot is. I havent grown yet either though so I probably am not a very accurate judge of the idea.
