Even though winter doesn't officially begin for almost 2 more months, the chill is definately in the air. All but the latest of the sativa's should be in, and lots of us outdoor growers are drying and curing for a true Thanksgiving. Out in my neck of the woods, hellishly high temps in July/Aug, and weeks of smoke from a far-away forest fire negatively impacted my yield (prob. by 30%). But on the postive side I lost none to 4 legged varmits or low-life rippers. So I did alright. My last girls came down yesterday. 2 nights of temps hovering aroung freezing and then a night of 25 degrees finished 'em but thank Ganja they were finally ripe anyways. I hope all of you did fine to excellent. I'm already looking forward to next year: comparing strain results with other local growers and lining up strains for '03, exchanging tips/info and doing what a lot of growers do with their excess. Can you say shiny new sky-blue Rav 4 parked in my damn driveway? Growers ROCK!!! Peace out

![]() ![]() ![]() | My neck 'o the woods is quite different. We set three records for high temps last week- days over 90ºF in November. The week I took off work to get my yard ready for winter turned into one last summer bash. The Neville's Haze is finally beginning to put some weight into the buds- for weeks I worried that I would get only popcorn buds. My Original Haze isn't far behind, with a few random buds pollinated for experimenting. Cindy99 will be finished in two more weeks, and I have AK-47 all vegged out and ready to flower as soon as a space opens up in the yard. After that Matanuska Thunder is next in line to flower outdoors in my excellent winter weather. And yes, I do what all of us personal use growers here at HC.com do with their excess- it is stored away nicely for a rainy day. That Rav 4 should do beautifully on thin ice!

sounds a LOT like Takilma, OR. to me Congrads Winner ![]() ~ still wincing at all the personal information you posted. ![]() Fires everywhere in Northern Cal and Southern Oregon...blessedly didn't affect yield ![]() OMM

![]() | ommamedmar-- Thanks. I didn't mean to imply that I sold weed (gasp!) and bought a new car with the proceeds, not at all. I meant that now, instead of spending $350.00--$450.00 a month on pot, that $ will go to car payments. And don't worry, there's just enough misinformation there. Peace out
