| a cop once told me that if u plant weed outdoors they can easly know where to find it with heat radar. he said when we fly the pork chopers the have a heat radar thing on the front' when the fly over the woods they can easly see where it is cuz herb gives off a bright green heat trace and no other plants give off this kind of heat trace. i belive him so a little advice, plant far away from your house | ||

| This is good advice especailly if your a really parinoid grower or already have a bad rap with the local cops but the truth is for me;I have grown 5 plants a year in at least 10 different houses all over the country and never attracted any police my philosophy is if your gonna grow indoors or out *dont be a dumb ass,use some common sence Learn/know you rights & Know your ememy better than they know you and you wont get busted.remember; if you dont know your rights you don't have any! | ||

| The officer was lying to you. Pot isn't any "hotter" than any other plant. The thermal imaging they use is primarily to discover or reaffirm growing inside houses. It notices hot spots inside the building that radiate through walls and roofs. Outdoors it will notice wetter spots as "cooler, especially when the normal conditions in that area are very dry. Growers should try to be conscious of when they water, and if helicopters are in your area you could be noticed, especially if you are watering during a dry period. JB | ||
