About a month a go the last plants of my crop died, they were bought for me by a mate back from amsterdam, and had Purple #1 on the packet. Last year i grew a simalar strain only these ones were called Orange bud#1 and i had quite a succesful time with them in a mates greenhouse. The Reason they died(or why ithink they died) is because i used mircle grow a blue coloured slimey fertiliser. The first few i simply spooned it on the top soil and i thought i'd used to much. The next few i did as the instructions said and diluted it in a jug of water and put it in household sprayer. Then i simply sprayed each plant every now and then(i would also like to rule out that they died of first since its quite a temerate clinmate i live in anyway). Finally ilike to also add that the plants were only seedlings and some were no bigger than your finger, also the soil was already highly fertilised as it was new out of the bag. so what i'm asking is where did i go wrong? p.s.i live in england so we dont have the best growing conditions outdoors but it still can be done. ![]()

until you know how much a strain can take go mild on the ferts. Some will take in MUCH MUCH more ferts than others. But you have to know which ones. I have one strain that LIKES fert every water and another that I have to do a 1/4 strenght dose. But as everyone else said. Mild is best til you know. best luck with your grow.

![]() | you can fertilize those any time now- but first, i would transplant to ground or bigger pot- then use fert 1/4 strength first time- wait a week and be aware for signs of overfert-then fert again with 1/2 strength- continue till you get to full strength- if at any time, the plants get sick- go back to the dilution that didn't hurt the plant- but first take care of plant by flushing soil with plenty of plain water and then give plant time to recuperate and show healthy growth returning to new growth as it comes in.

![]() | looks like that plant needs to be repotted, a bit small that.i also use the exact same fertilizer as you.. I did the same mistake at first by overfertilizing the small plants and lost afew. Guess i was too eager for them to double in size just like the picture on the box I dilute 7 ml of that miricle grow into a 4 pint milk cartoon for one plant but maybe you should wait a little while before doing that dont want to nute burn it. I have 5 plants all growing outside in the uk. 3 are doing vey well all showing signs of being girls they are about 2 2/3 feet tall, one other is just as big but i had mayor probs with over nute , Maybe it was the to alkaline tap water which made the pH rise to about 6.9. I tried Epson Salts the other day (half a teaspoon to 4 pint milk carton for each plant, seems to be working thaoough a bit too early to say. Still have to check the pH after the epson salts.... Hope my experiance is of some use to you

Ferts? I don't buy ferts, come to think of it i buy as little as possible of anything. I have this botanist friend and he aided me with my crop, cos i try to keep as organic as possible. I use this to feed: Grass: 1yr - 2yrs old, broken down and rotted. Hoss muck: again, broken down. Fill a large water butt with water. Get a ladies pair of tights, stuff one leg with hoss muck and the other with grass. Tie the top and then tie a house brick to the tights. Drop it in the water and hey presto, organic feed. Either that or buy ferts! I water my plants when the soil starts to dry, they seem to like it. I water then with the barrel water and flush the pots every 6 weeks, just incase. Has luck has it, i've never over fed or under fed my plants yet, no matter how much i water them! Just an idea. Keep it simple, keep it natural. ![]()
