I'm growing a few plants from some bag seed i found, I'm not sure if it even gonna germinated, but incase it does. What the chances of it being female?, I'm currently in those type of situation where i need to save, so i don't have any money to buy seed online. Please Help.

i also grow bagseed.... ordinary mid grade bag seeds.... they grow big and healthy... i get about a 1/3 female to male ratio but ultimatly there is a 50/50 chance that it will be a female

First of all check out the grow guide, so you know how to germ them properly. Have a look at your seeds. In my experience only the darker coloured ones have germinated. If the seeds are a light green or grey colour they are most likely immature and not viable. In any case give em a go. If you don't, you can always send them to me

In my opinon its a good idea to start off with bagseed to get your growing skills up to scratch. Once you've had a little experience and you have a little money you can get some good quality seeds from one of the reputable seed banks.

In regards to how many will be female, well that's a tough one. There are various theories on this; one that sex is determined when the seed is produced, giving a ratio of say 50/50, another suggesting that sex is not determined until later in the plants life cycle.
