Yes....the water droplets act as a magnifying glass. depending on where the water drops stay in a long period of time. Usually there is almost always droplets of water on the tips of the leaves. thats why its best to do your watering/folier feeding at night so they have time to obsorb and dry before the sun finds them. anyone disagree?

In my climate feeding and watering is done in the early AM so that both the plants and the area around them are dry by night. Wet, damp, dark, and humid encourages way too much fungus, mold, etc.

That makes alot of sense 3hounds. Perhaps I have been doing it wrong. Hav'nt had the pleasure of experiencing mold yet. Its best to go with 3hounds's advice Frozen. He has more experience than I do.

folier feeding - no...there's not really a point to it...just put ur nutes in the ground...don't worry about spraying them down with fertilizer.....how would you like it if someone sprayed you down with all the food you eat

Peacefully ,

Guerilla

water on leaves

if you happen to get some water on your leaves, it can help attract insects also, so make sure you always keep the leaves dry, tis a good thing.

Hmmm, y'all got me thinking. A couple of my five-foot tall (and growing fast) sativas recently developed burned leaf tips on some of the small new leaves near the top - otherwise the plants look good and the burned areas don't seem to be getting worse or hurting growth in general. I was wondering about this and it seems as if now I have an answer. Do you all have similar experience with water droplets leading to burned tips? It's been hot and sunny with damp nights and occasional thunder showers and so the hypothesis fits the data (as they say)...

And thanks 3hounds for the wisdom behind morning watering to avoid fungus in our humid neck of the woods...
