hello everyone! i foudn a killer spot and now i have about 30 - 40 plants going. unfortunently I was greedy and didnt have many pots so I have about 10 of my 1ft1/2 beauties in a 5 gallon bucket, they grow well but out grow the buckets fast. I also have another 15 or so plants in a another 7 gallon bucket they are also above a foot but have storng stems and again are very healthy. But it is obvious the roots have intertwined be on seperation. I wouldnt want to try and split the roots unless it wouldnt hurt my babies. Then again i was wondering if somehow i could make a mass push of herb in one bucket and just keeo transplanting too huge enough containers. Or shoudl i just say it and dig a great hole and stick the clumps or bushels if you will in the ground. Any feedback would be great

A sharp knife will be the best bet in seprating all those plants. Vertical slices between plants is going to be the easiest way of cutting them apart. That many, that close will not leave much root structure to work with, plan on loosing a couple.
Maybe just a big hole and try to separate them as much as possible.
