Question what if the weather gets too cold????

hey grow gods!
i hope everyone's summer is going well...we can only hope fall will be as nice. i'm at about 49 lat and our temps at nite have dropped as low as the mid 40s recently. my grow has been fine so far but i was wondering what may happen if we get a shytty fall...cold and rainy. i'm assuming this could ruin a whole lotta work. i am a few weeks into flowering now, so things won't even be ready til the first week of october.
what does everyone else do under crappy conditions?
do you just end up with loose fluffy buds?

You could probably start to lose a lot of THC and crystals if you have shitty weather. Might just wana harvest early…

Cold temps in the 40's will just slow growth down . If it gets below freezing that's where some damage gets done. But most mature plants can stand a mild frost without taking to much damage.

Before I've used garbage bags to protect my plants at night from frost, but you'll want a secure location if you take that route.

Ive been having problems with cold weather (50's-60's) at about 38Lat and coastal fog conditions and the problems that have arised lately are gray mold.(botrytus)sp?
It seems that in fog and cold weather for a week or longer will cause healthy growth to start getting gray mold on stocks and dying leaves.

Gray mold ruined my havest last year so im trying to get around it this year. we've had great weather thus far, but august has kind of rained on my parade. Hopefully the indian summer will come soon and dry/crisp up all of this gray mold that has started.
I might start spraying problem areas with a vinegar solution or maybe a 10% bleach solution. I'll have to search and do some reading on how to deal with it properly. I learned a few ways of how NOT to deal with it last year....

thanks for the replies folks....this morning it was in the 50s, so thats not so bad. during the day its been in the 70s but i think the 80s are gone...except for a possible short indian summer. its actually been pretty dry here since those crazy may/june weeks of rain. i was just concerned if in sept. the weather went drastically down hill....of course we will pray its fairly dry and sunny and in 70s! the trees are doing great thus far, i just want it to continue. i think i will have to tie some of the branches though...they seem like they may get heavy(well hopefully they will)
