Dug up?

Ok, last night i chopped up some ground and put a mound of top soil on it, I then put my seeds in it and watered it, anyway this morning when i went 2 waterit i found foot prints like a raccon and digging, i lost all my seeds except for one, i put the seed back in the soil, will it grow?

The seed should be ok if it's only been in the ground 1 day. This is one reason why it's good to pre-dig your holes, so critters get used to them before you plant in them.
