| Today is May 24th, I want to order seeds from Marc Emery in British Columbia within the next few days (will I get ripped off? Anyone have experience with this guy?) It will take 2-4 weeks for delivery of the seeds to me, I live outside of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Will this be too late to plant seeds outdoors? It starts getting cold again around the end of August. Also, I heard diluted Tobasco sauce is also good for discouraging deer from eating pot plants, is this true? Thanks! | ||

| Welcome to HempCultivation.com Shuckybenoit! No, it's not too late to plant at all. You'll probably just have to water them more often than you would have if you'd planted earlier, because the plants root system will not be as developed by the time the dry season arrives. I've planted as late as mid July myself, although it's not optimal.Peace, Observer | ||

| shucky like observer says it's not to late i lived in red deer 2 years ago and planted 170 two weeks later than you and I made out wonderfully. As far as the deer I remember how much of a problem they can be my method was to put human hair in womans nilons and hang them in the area of your plot.Another method for deer is to let your dog piss around the area not to close to the youngins. | ||
