the oval leaves on all my plants turn yellow, then brown and die. this usually happens whn the 3 point leafs appear. is this normal? somehting wrong with the soil?

This happend with all of my plants too, so I think it's normal.

yeah they are just your water leaves... u need them when they are youngins... but after awhile they all die. its not a problem

What you're describing are the cotyledons or seed leaves. These carry the energy for the seed to grow big enough to produce its own.
It's normal as the seedling grows for them to yellow and fall.
