| Yikes!!! My girlies have been otdoors for almost 2 weeks now and they seemed to adjust fine(raised from clones inside) When I checked on them yesterday I found(much to my shagrin) some of the larger leaves had been chomped and there was these tiny tiny(pinhead sized) yellow bugs crawling around on the undersides of the leaves. I removed the affected leaves. I was going to the nursery to pick up some other goodies today and I'm wondering if anyone knows what these buggers might be? so I can get the appopriate spray(organic) to deal with them before it's too late. I already have sulpher spray on my list will this help? or would Neem be better? Any advice or help identifying would be greatly appreciated! Love your girlies!!! ;~} | ||

| You mean I've discovered a brand new insect species that likes MJ? I really doubt that, c'mon don't be shy, a little help identifying my foes would be greatly appreciated. Damage is not critical right now but I'd rather not wait till it is. Love your girlies!!! Please help!! ;~} | ||

| It's hard to say... someone posted a link a while back to pics of pests but I don't remember which one. The tiny bugs could be mites, but they don't munch leaves. It sounds like more than 1 bug really, usually tiny bugs suck juices without eating the leaf. Sorry I can't help more, perhaps a little more detail about the bugs, like wings, # legs etc. D9 | ||

| Usually, but I have them about the color described now. If they look like spiders they'd be mites. But be sure that they're what are doing the damage, there are a lot of good mites too. I wouldn't want to kill those, if only I could get infested with them...without paying for them... D9 | ||

| That would be the trick Delta... all the good bugs and none of the bad...if only it where that easy than everybody would be doin' it ;~} Well I picked up some Safer's Insecticidal soap that I'm gonna try and I also was advised (on another forum) to try a spray made of pureed garlic and jalepeno peppers as the one two combination. So I think I'll try the soap tomorrow and take it from there. Speaking of good bugs, I catch a bunch of ladybugs and release them into my 'closet' whenever I get the chance, they seem to really like it in there and only vacate when their food is gone(which is what I'm after)...and they look so good crawlin all over the girlies. Thanx for the help! Love your girlies!!! ;~} | ||
