| I've never tried to grow before,so forgive me for any stupid questions. 1.I'm starting the seeds outside, how often should I water them? and how long before they start to sprout? 2.After they sprout I want to move them to an old shed beside my house, would this be good or bad? 3.I heard that miricle grow was bad for the plant, true or false. 4.I live in the south, when does season start and end. | ||

| OK, the best methode I think to plant your seeds... (and by the way, I told this a few times already, read the questions of other people too, you can learn a lot !!!!) a) You put the seeds in a glass of water. b) Put the glass next to your pots where you will plant the seeds later (so they can get used to the temprature c) Refresh the water every day d) After a 2-4 days your seeds will sprout, put them in little pots, 2-3 cm (+/- 2 inch) e) After about a week they will show their little heads. f) Wait an other two weeks and put them in full ground, or in bigger pots (min 3l-10l). about the shed... Just give your plants enough fresh air and lots of light !!! about the miracle grow... Some say it's good, but you certainly don't have to use it. I use fish emulsion, and while flowering bone meal. sorry, I know nothing about the season their, but DON'T WAIT TO LONG !!! [This message has been edited by c-boy (edited June 09, 2000).] | ||

![]() | Personally, I use the wet paper towel method for germinating. Place the seeds inside a paper towel, moisten it DON'T SOAK IT, place it inside a zip-lock baggie, and let it sit in a cool, dark place for a few days. I've experienced a 90% germ. rate this way. Stay green! ![]() | ||
