What's good gardeners? My seedlings are 15 days old, germinated from bag seed and growing with pots in soil and outdoors. One of the seedlings has two fingers on the first set of true leaves, I thought the first of true leaves were meant to have only one finger? Do I have a mutant? Second finger is circled in red, looking underneath the second finger is branching off the side (alternate leaf arrangement) of the main finger. My macro setting on my phone camera isn't good to provide a good photo from underneath, sorry.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I was told its normal. It will have more fingers as the plant develops. I had a plant with the 1st set being 3 leaves, the second set doing 4, and the 3rd set doing 5. Now the plant produces 7 points everywhere. | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm sure that the other two will appear soon. I read on wikipedia that on the: 1st set of true leaves, 1 finger appears. 2nd set of true leaves, 3 fingers appear, 3rd set of true leaves, 5 appear, 4th set of true leaves, 7 appears, so on...
