Can I transplant from soil to Hempy bucket ?

Is this possible ? I started my plants in soil on the 8th and 10th of July so there a couple weeks old. Anywho I still dont think there ready to be transplanted yet but after reading up on hempy buckets I realised that it seems rather simple to acheive so Id like to put a couple in hemp buckets and leave a few in soil to grow side by side and than compare the difference in the two methods.

So basically can I transplant them to a hempy bucket from soil ? If so how do I go about it ?

Yes. Rinse the roots first.

Also rinse the hempy bucket a few times (3x) until it comes through clear. No kidding, rinse the hempy medium before you use it there' a lot of vermiculite dust. On the last rinse pour it in fast, it will leave a hole behind you can stick your transplant in.

Is the mix something like 3/4 Perlite to 1/4 Vermiculite ? I read that on another post here somewhere.

What do you mean by rinse the bucket 3X until it comes through clear ? DOes the bucket have to be clear plastic ?

And your saying use the water pressure to create the indent for the transplant. Whats wrong with poking a hole with my finger ?

He's saying that vermiculite, before rinsed, is covered in dust. So you need to run water through your hempy bucket as to remove all the dust before you transplant. Not sure what the mix is, I heard 50/50

He's saying when you pour the water in it will make a nice little hole for your plant, it's just convenient.

I recently transplanted another clone from soil to hempy. The clone was really rootbound in the soil. Even with rinsing there was still a lot of dirt in the rootball since it was so compact. Transplant into a large 1 gal. hempy bucket went just fine.

75% perlite, 25% vermiculite. (3 parts P to 1 part V) I never rinsed mine.
