My plants are about 5 months old. Due to my landlord being in town, I decided to move my amazing beautiful just starting to bud plants to a mountain location. I moved them when they were about 2 1/2 months old. I finally got them back yesterday and they look terrible! They had enough water, but I'm thinking it needed the nice foothill sunshine it was used to. Here are some pics of their current condition: og master kush that was chopped in half! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And my sage n sour that has lost all large fan leaves and has super whispy buds. ![]() ![]() ![]() Most of the dead yellow/brown buds have new green growth coming from within. Should I try to trim off the dead? Should I try to top the larger plant? This is my first grow and its going rather poorly right now. I can take more pics if necessary. I'd appreciate any helpful tips or opinions on what I should do to maximize my yield because it really looks bad right now.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I wouldn't do anything to your plants at this point. They suffered from being taken outdoors from a benign indoor environment. It looks like they have begun to flower so anything that you prune now would be lost buds. Any damaged leaves will eventually drop off, but if they are completely brown it is not a problem to remove them. Feed and water them as needed and give them a chance to recover during their flower cycle. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Welcome to the Garden, Van Omen. Thanks, I agree that mantids are cool. When a plant is grown indoors and then moved outdoors, it should be acclimated for a day or two. Best spot is a place where filtered sunlight or semi shade is available for most of the day. The plants are in sad shape but you will still be able to salvage some buds from them. ![]()

![]() ![]() | It has actually been grown outdoors ever since I bought it at a medical clinic. It was moved from 9 hours of direct sunlight daily and 90 degree temp to 6 hours of partly shaded by trees sunlight and 70 degree temperatures. I thought the plants would thrive in on the mountain, but I know better now.

I happily picked up a lemon og kush clone today. It'll be interesting to see if my lil baby plant grows up to be better than my older sadder plants. I'm still really bummed about not yielding much sage n sour though. As damaged as it is, it still smells amazing! I'm glad my nextdoor neighbors are real chill about ganj, because that old plant stinks of sour d!

Van Omen---Bummer on the plants there. That sage and sour doesn't look all that bad, all the fan leafs are gone though, so I wouldn't be giving it much nutes, if any at all from here on out. You have any ideas what was the problem at all?? What kind of nutes were they getting?? Outside in those pots, or in the ground?? Just wondering, cause have one plant in the mountains this year. Good luck with that lemon OG Kush too, welcome to the garden also. Happy Growing Alleycat

![]() ![]() | I think the problem was that I my dad transplanted them into bigger pots using half miracle grow and half "good ol' mountain soil". They were outside and recieved mostly indirect sunlight. They were watered weekly and didn't recieve any additional nutrients that I'm aware of. My little lemon og is doing really good already though. It has purple stems!! I took picutes this morning of it, but I just smoked and then accidently deleted the pics on my camera. I'll try to get some up soon though. And thanks for the Welcomes. I have a good feeling this forum is going to be very beneficial to my plants lives thanks to you good peoples' advice.

I took some pictures today (9/1/08) Here's my sage n sour that is doing pretty well. The nearby street lamps seem to have affected (extended) it's vegetive growth. It is budding, but fairly slowly. I do apologize for the crappy pictures. I had a lot of people moving around the neighborhood, so I had to take my pics quick. Whole plant, with rose bush growing toward/into my mmj until I moved it back farther to avoid the street lamp lightrays. ![]() Top cola ![]() Heres a sad picture of my small master kush plant that was infected by maggots and didn't survive it's emergency transplant ![]() And last but certainly not least, My 18 day old lemon kush that has grown ridiculously tall in such a short period of time. It has tripled in height since it was planted on august 15th It's actually taller than my sage n sour that is somewhere around 5 months old. I just transplanted it into a larger pot today because while it was a little over two feet tall, and it was still in an 8inch tall plastic pot. I did a good job transplanting it (basically just planted everything from the smaller pot into the larger pot) so it should do well. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Van Omen : 09-02-2008 at 01:16 PM.
