Might be the explanation.However,my seedlings didnt take as long as yours did,were you using bagseed or what?Perhapes not the right grow medium,I hope you let the paint dry before putting your plant in there...

"some potting mix I had laying around" - not good... gotta get yourself some new soil.

Then when you germ your seed put it under the soil as soon as you see the tap root and let it develop it's stem and leaves from there.

How did you germ the seed?

There are a lot of variables when you plant a seed, soil, water, light, temperature, humidity.... right off the bat your soil concerns me.

Let the cab air out while you are germing your next seeds. I hear you when you say that the plant's growth just stopped as soon as you put it in the soil. That's my point exactly.

Get some good potting soil and some perlite and mix them together and get it wet.
The next day or so put your germed seed into that soil about 1/2" below. Keep it
warm. Should see a plant emerge within a week.

The potting mix i used was sittin in the shed for proberly a bout 2 years. i opend the bag tho so i thort it would be ok it was still nice and fresh smelling.

i got my little fan going 24/7 now to air out the grow box. and i have my very last seed growing.

the seeds i got were Bag seed. i brought my self a fity off a new dealer (wont do it again) and i had my little budd FULL i mean FULL of seeds. i counted 54 seeds. i tried smoking most of them (dident work as planed) so i decided i would give growing a go. seams to be a lot harder than every one made it out to be hehe.

i think i am goin gto try and get my self a clone off a mates mum.


I will be back with new information about my seed when it has a nice healthy root.

Bad news.

i put my Air flow fan on 2 not 1. So now my seed dried out and is now DEAD aswell. ;'(

Well this is a sad end for my growing expirance, i wont be trying this again

i no But i carnt get any seeds any more. my dealer was shut down.

yeah.... there's a learning curve to most things... each time you try you learn something...
and then don't repeat the error.

Well i have some good news.. IM BACK IN THE GAME
after rinding my prety much dead plant. i decided to head out with some mates for a day. Well i just had a look at my Dead plant to See that it is no longer dead.
The plant is alive again. im not sure how it happend But its back

No new grow. prety much the same as the picture STILL.

well simce my plant revived its self. it lost its first 2 leaves and now has 2 new ones. plant is still at the same height as the picture i posted.

ILLEGAL-SEED

57 seeds in 1 bud sounds to me like they are completly useless. were a lot of them whiteish colored? seed banks would kill for that kind of pollination. lol get some good seeds, some good soil with no nutes, and dont overwater, you should have no problems getting your plant started.
