These plants are still in vegetative growth, but are around 35 or so days along and I have read that after about 30 days they can start showing signs of preflowers. I did not notice any white hairs or definite balls anywhere but I was thinking optimistically maybe pictures 05 and 06 look like they could possibly be females? I am not good at picking them out until some time in flowering but I know some people can do it. So far I think 5 and 6 look promising but I could be completely wrong about that... I hope so those are Hydro plants and growing much more rapidly than the soil ones. | ||

| I think I captured some tiny preflowers in these photos, I zoomed in and got as close as I could. I forgot they are supposed to be a lot smaller than what I was looking for, from my understanding the male ones usually come in pairs right? None of the ones in my photos are a pair they are all singular. I think some fo them look like the balls though, but there is only one and it's not even 12/12 yet. They are tiny! | ||

| no preflowers yet. Those are just the growth tips at the nodes your seeing there. Some strains never show preflowers. Others start shooting hairs out all over the place. But generally not until the plant has alternating nodes which your just barely starting to get in pictures 5, 6, & 9 of the 2nd batch

| looks like a growth tip to me but I've never seen a male preflower in my life. Usually if your gonna see preflowers its gonna be pistols. Last time I had a plant that showed preflowers only the female pistols were showing, the males had no signs. Dont worry about it till you flip those girls to 12/12. *Most* strains i've grown never showed preflowers.

| Thanks for looking guys... I need to stop being so anxious, this is the first time I have grown in over 5 years though and I am eager to know if I have any ladies... I hope the hydro ones are ladies at least because they are getting all of the attention. I want to flower, but I should probably Veg for another few weeks at least since I want as big of a yield as I can possibly get with 500+ watts in a closet.
