Is it a good idea or a bad idea to remove some ( few ) fan leaves when flowering starts ( Autoflower ) to allow better light penetration ?

hey cp
i personally dont remove anything from my plants expecailly during flowering it can turn your plant into a hermie from the stress!!
if any trimming do it before flowering BUT i dont recomend removing fan leaves beacause they are like solar panels to ur plants!!
evertried lst works great!!
good luck

i never do, sometimes tuck them out of the way. but ive done this and the buds grew rather more slowly where fanleaves were lacking.

the fan leaf is the main light collector.

don't cut them, as stated, tuck don't pluck... those fan leaves are going to hold and store nutrients the plant needs for producing flowers.. if you cut them you MAY sacrifice yield.. -

the buds need those leaves for a food source. never cut off fan leaves. when the plants is finished with them, they will fall off all on their own
