![]() | my white widow strain under my 400whps and a single 23wCFL began with the basic 3 bladed leaf, then directly went to 5, from 5 to 7, now it's 2 weeks and 1 day old and it's next has gone directly to 9 blades. my question is does this mean good genetics? or does it signify good quality? any answers are much appreciated later ![]() ![]() -Rooph

Nothing to do with quality, that will depend on your growing skills. WW its a very potent strain if grown well btw. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | in general sativas tend to have more and longer blades than indicas, but the number of blades doesn't really mean anything. some plants will even throw out 1 and 3 blades, and that's it. others 9, 11, maybe 13. just want a healthy plant, # of blades is unimportant

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What if it throws out even number leaves like 4, 6, and 8 for example and ununiform like odd length blades. Not the uniform little, to medium, to one big blade in the middle? Does this mean anything? Like unstable genetics or anything. I currently have a plant throwin out leaves like this every so often.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | "Does this mean anything? Like unstable genetics or anything. " probably not. I have 1 plant that ALWAYS gets a bad twist in the center leaf of any branch 1/2 up the stem. Got another that puts out leaves when and where it wants. It does em each different. Though I've never seen the even # of leaves, I'd say it's an oddity nothing more. Do the plants look healthy? indoor or out? are the leaves nice and green, just throwing weird ones now and then? If it's just that one plant probably nothing to worry over. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good morning & a big scarey ... BoooooOoOo I've seen outdoor plants that have had upto 15 blades on any given plant once when I was in Northern California visiting friends at one of the friends parent' home. It was several years old and had been grown naturally as the plant is an annual. This was the first ever plant grown that I saw actually have small pinkish flowers on her only because they were so old and flowered yearly giving the largest buds (at the time) i'd ever seen on any given plant. I was told by the growers a very mature (pre-elder) older couple that it was very rare to see a 15 bladed leaf grown indoors because it wouldn't be allowed to mature and grow as big. That was many many years ago and i've no clue as to what the specialized clones of today might do if allowed to grow wild in a backyard for many years.. They as well told me of the maturity of the smokables from plants that were several years old compared to something that was just flowered for the shorter periods we grow indoors. Have a Great day and a safe & Happy Halloween don
