| I just heard from a friend today about this thing called topping the plant. he said that i should cut the top off of my plant and it will make the plant grow mass branches which will = more buds. is this true and is it dangerous? if it is recomended, where exactly do i cut it, how big should my plant be when i first cut it, and how often should i do it? please help.... i want to do whats best for my plants and i am very tempted to do this but im scared to death of it ![]() | ||

![]() | the growth tip of the very top of the plant. which will be the piece that is beginning the new formation of other branches. cut that bad boy off. may seem bad, but in a few days it will grow 2 growth tips in place of the 1 you cut. keep doing this will = more product for you. good luck. have fun. be safe. <Lost>

![]() | you can start doing that anytime you want, it wont hurt the plant at all. its acutally a good way to go if your not going sea of green (SOG). you can trim the new growth tips every time you see them and they will continue to double. <Lost>
