![]() | id say this local is trying to spoon feed you a large mouthful of bullSh1t. sugar will do no good what so ever. plants are autotrophs, they produce thier own sugar from carbon dioxide sunlight and chlorophyl. this combination produces glucose, refined sugar is sucrose. so even if the roots could take in the sugar and use it, which they cant, it is an entirely different type of sugar. if youve spent so many months taking care of your ladies, why risk harming your babies. 420...bonghits

![]() | Go to this link and read: http://www.hempcultivation.com/420/s...ht=citric+acid It should clear it up for you. The addition of sugar and citric acid in very dilute solution gives the end result of smoothing out the taste and smoke of the final product. Cheers, Rapunzel

![]() | nikola i have been using molasses on my soil plant it has simple sugars and citric acid that the plant can assimilate. my plant does not smell too much(good thing) but it does smell sugary sweat it dont smell like mj to much and its budding i used molasses because it is an insect repellant as well so i dilute it into my soil with out worrying about an ant invasion just an experiment and its going well no draw backs thus far Last edited by biologist; 11-26-2001 at 05:58 AM..

Ive heard of this being to grow giant pumpkins and other kinds of vegetables. Sometimes they even feed milk straight into the main stem to add weight. Just a thought....

![]() ![]() ![]() | Wait, now that I thikn about it, couldn't you feed your plants glucose?? This would be like giving them... liquid photosynthesis! Or perhaps... synthetic photosynthesis! ![]() Really though, do you think you could feed your plants glucose? Would they successfully use it for energy?
