Males will produce pollen, females will produce seeds.

One thing i remember that might be the cause for your confusion:
A male/female canabis plant might show flowers from the oposit sex.
In that case you'll be dealing with an hermie and you should pull him out.

so then the males only produce flowers and the females are the seed producers? so there is no use letting a male flower cause it doesn't make seeds, the only reason would be to smoke the leaves?

The use you have for a male is to pollinate female flowers so they'll produce seeds.
If you don't allow females to be pollinated(?) all plant efford will go to bud pruduction, instead of wasting energies producing seeds, and that means...


some leaves are good to smoke, but there's nothing like the real thing...
