Hello fellas-
This may seem dumb but...
I have some plants that are almost done flowering under 430w hps. I have some young ones in small pots starting to grow. Is it bad for the little ones to run on the 12/12 on off light cycle so they can be under the same light? I know it's best to run 24 hrs a day, but could I get by for a little while?
-thanks a lot

24 hrs a day????
Just one question...
Would you like to be in a gimn 24 hours a day?
Would it be good for you?

Never forget, if you don't respect your plants, you'll pay for it, one day!

At least try 24/6 or 7...

As for your question:
1- be carefull with light intensity for the young ones
2- If they're old enought, they'll flower in 1/2 weeks.

i suppose you don't want that, so what you can do is removing them from darkness, for a few more hours...

By the way... HAPPY GROWING

wolfman: there's nothing wrong w/ giving your plants constant light...I've never seen any plant have a bad reaction to that (unless you call not flowering while under constant light a bad reaction)...

indy_kid: if you've had the little ones under 12/12 for around a week or more, you might concider just keeping them in there and flowering them now...even if they're small, they should still produce a fair ammount of smoke...otherwise, give them a longer light cycle (actually, shorter dark)...they'll probably fall behind at least two weeks though.

Epicurus...

"...unless you call not flowering while under constant light a bad reaction..."

I think this one wasn't clear!
I never meant to state you couldn't, just, as highguy once said, everyone is posting about N,P,HID,Topping,sexing,etc...
It almost look like people are dealing with a machine instead of a plant...

Just that!
