![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'll tell what my uncle swears by in his vegetable garden. Tobacco butts in a coffee can with water. He takes a cloth and wipes the leaves and stalks of his plants and never has a bug problem. I know it sounds kinda gross, but I guess the bugs know more than humans and won't go near that stinky tar and nicotine gunk. I asked him if it seeped into the leaves and effected the taste any any and he said that the only way it possibly could would be to feed it to the roots. (but who would want to anyway?) Toke it easy, Pan. | ||

| Pan has a good solution.. nicotine has been used as an insecticide for centuries. It's only banned now cause it's so deadly, one drop of pure nicotine on a large dogs skin will cause death.. 2 drops on your tongue will kill a human..just think how little it would take to kill a bug. I'd give it a try.. it's gotta be better than furniture polish, but just try to keep it away from the plant.. tobacco mosiac affects alot of plants.. i know it kills beans. Most of my experience is with vegtable gardening.. i'm still fairly new at growing MJ. The orange bugs sound like aphids or spider mites which really won't hurt unless they're on the plant, and those little black bugs of TNJ's could be almost anything which i wouldn't worry much about unless they're actually in the pot, sounds like they're just going under the pots to get out of the sun and for the moisture. | ||
