| I have to leave for two months because my aunt is ill. The thing is, my plants are on there 3 set of jagged leaves. I wanted to top them, but if i wait till i get back they will be to big. Im leaving my sister (doesnt know a thing about growing) to feed and water them, so she cant top them. I was wondering if i can top them after the second set of nodes. Is this ok? Please help me out KeeP TokeN | ||

| I'm at the same stage in growth you are at, and I was just going to post the same question. I'm not really sure concerned with the plants growing slowly because I am leaving June 3, and I have to plant them outside. Does anyone know if topping makes the stems stronger? | ||

| Hey all!! it can be topped after the 4th or 5th node.. it will make them bushier, but no it won't make them stronger, wind will take care of that (if outside) a fan if inside. is there a reason why you would want to top them if you are leaving for 2 months? anyway the second set is too small, remember it is still a baby at this point, you need to give it time to grow. 4th or 5th node ROCKY | ||
