| I was wondering if anyone new how much abuse a plant can take. My plants are on their 3rd set of leaves. Ok...last night there was a BAD thundrstorm. Heavy winds, lotta rain...the whole shabang! Today i went to visit them and all but 2 plants were on the ground, covered with dirt. I wiped off the dirt and propped them up with pencils (tied to them). Im assuming that they will be in shock for a couple days (which sucks because i just topped them). Any advice would be helpful. Thanx KeeP TokeN | ||

| ive been working plants outside for a while now and i had the same thing here. a big thunderstorm with a lot of rain, but i keep a plastic cover over them because the problem with a lot of rain is that it washes away the soil and knocks them over and the water weight makes them too heavy to get back up. the plants can take a lot of wind cause i was scared checking on mine but they turned out fine. if you staked them and put back some of the soil that may have eroded they will be fine in the next day or two. i sugjest putting a clear plastic cover over them if you hear hard rain in the forcast.. peace | ||
