Thats what I thought flowering was its realy just common scence but I just wanted to be sure and know everything ahead of time.Cant know to much about growing.Well I put them outside all day till sundown and put them in mt closet under lava lamp at night till i gto bed around 4a.m.
But thanx 4 the info I sure do appreciate it bro.

i dont think that a lava lamp will do the trick. you need some better ones, like flouroescents. unless you have a flouro in the lava lamp. but with the sunlight it will do good too.

what is sexing the plants and how do you do it ?what is flowering ?and i dont want my plant to bud early if it makes less bud so how much light should i give them i think i give them about 14-16 hrs of light a day sun and arti.also how do I tell if they are male or female ?

Chief, you have a long time to go before you flower. If you are giving the plants artificial light also then you would want them to be under at least 18 hrs of light, 24 is better, they grow faster that way. Topping is done about the 4th node (forth set of leaves) just cut it off, that's all. Flowering is when you start to bud. You turn the lights back to 12 hrs a day they will show sex in about a week. There will be two white hairs coming out from in between the nodes. when you get to that point I have pics I can send to you.

Yeah thats what I hear bud but from m results I cant see why not to use 1 lol.I do have a blacklight but i hear they can go into shock if I do a sudden switch on them.Could I use the lava lamp and the blacklight ?And if I do then how will the blacklight help cause tha lava lamp will over power the light .

Lava lamps are useless as well as a black light. flouros are your best bet for the closet without getting into allot of money. Your plants wont grow very good under those lights either. so if they don't grow very good the bud will be small and your plant might be stemy..

So I need to get florous huh?What are they ?them tube lights?I could just get 1 of them and put it in my blacklight holder right?Did you mean that lava lamps will make the buds small and stemy or the fl?

Oh Rocky I 4got 2 mention that I dont just leave it underthe ava lamp 24hrs I give it direct sunlight most of the day time do I still need to get the fls?

I think rocky means that you can not have good buds without a good amount of light.

You need at least 2000 Lumens s/f, optimal will be 3000+.
In case you can find a pure Sativa (or almost) you'll need more.

You'll have to check the Lumens rating in lamps.

Sunlight will have a brutal amount of lumens, so it will depend on how strong in your area.
Remember that Marijuana grows a lot so, will you still be capable of giving them sunlinght in the future?
If so,you have no need for floros except for vegetative state.

Ok here is what I was gonna do.
I was gonna start off inside through the veg growth and during the day put my pot outside,then at night bring them in.Is this good or bad to do?Now I just need to know what kind of light to use for growing them utill a a foot or 2 then put them outside till harvest time.Whats my best bet to go with ?
