| Hi. I have some plants in the veg stage. Some of the original giant "Solar panel" type leaves are covering the newer, bushier, tops growth preventing maximum light exposure to the much more promising areas of the plants. Should I get rid of some (or all) of these large leaves? Thanks, J | ||

![]() | allo m8 ![]() DO NOT, i repeat, do not clip off the solar leaves (unless they are mostly yellow, in which case, just draining food from the other leaves) cos these leaves are what soaks up all the light to make your buds BIGGER ![]() if you have to do something, just move them to one side or tuck them under the tops or something this you'll probably have to do every day as they have a habit of moving and creeping back up. but thats a small price to pay, no ??keep your buds dry Big C

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I usually wait until a very slight tug on the leaf removes it .... then it was ready to come off ... don't yank on it! When it comes off in this manner it was geting ready to fall shortly anyway and all energy was drained from it ![]() Each leaf is exactly that a solar collective that helps feed the plants and make them grow big ![]() LB
