![]() | I have three plnts in one large pot, they are about 2 months in development and the largets is about 7 inches tall. Is there anyway to do it without destroying thier roots?

![]() ![]() ![]() | Welcome everlost ![]() You've picked a doozy for your first post!! Read Transplanting 101 for some basic transplanting information, all of which will apply to your situation. But you will need to add another step- when you pull the rootball out of the pot, lay it down and break it apart. It will break naturally, if it is not too compacted. Use your fingers to separate it into the three sections. If it comes out as a hard, solid mass, you may need to cut- stand it up like it is in the pot, and take a sharp knife and cut it just like you cut a pie, with each plant in a different section. Do this in a shady location, keep the plants in shade for a day or two after, and make sure you water them well when you pot them. You can mist them with plain water (in the shade) if they look droopy. | ||
