Hello guys, This is my first grow and I am growing in a closet that measures 11x2x3 feet. It is divided into 2 5.5x2x3 layers. I had 2 400W HPS lights in there. The temperature in the closet was 112 with the door closed, and I decided that it's not an option to leave the door open. (I have a squirrel cage fan blowing into the room through a dryer hose, along with 3 10" box fans in the closet; ventilation is ample.) I replaced them with 150W lights and now the temperature (in mid-October weather, pretty drafty) is 90 degrees with the blinds covering the fan, and 82 degrees with the fan open to the window. My pots are 2 7-1/3gal troughs and 1 3gal pot on each level. I am planning on growing 1-2 plants in each trough and 1 plant in each 3gal pot. Is there anyone out there who can estimate for me what my yield could be when I am running at full capacity? Can you tell me how much more I could have gotten had the temperature of my previous lights not been so ludicrous? Thanks Stinky | ||
