I have about 14 plants that have been on a 24/7 cycle since i started growing them. All my plants are indoor, as up here in the north country we have this aweful thing called winter. ![]() I started growing them about 2 1/2 months ago. There is no alternation in the leaf stalks yet. I have 2 of the plants that are about 2 and a half feet tall, and the rest are about a foot and a half tall. There is no sign of sex yet, but being an optemist i am hoping for all females (duh). I have them all growing in soil. The 2 and a half footers have all the growth within the top 6 inches. And the rest are all full lush plants. Here is my setup. 2 florogrow lights( plant and aquarium bulbs) for 12 of the plants, including the 2 hydros. 2 GE plant bulbs in construction clip on domes for the tall girls. 1 4x6 grow room with foiled insulation (1/2) inch on the walls. I fIgured the light would reflect off the foil providing indirect light to the sids of the plants, creating lusher fuller plants. So anyone have any suggestions beside HPS or MH lighting? THe plants seem to be growing fine i guess i just need to know when should i see some sexing? should I change the lighting times? I mean its my first grow and i am trying to go for yeild. when i first started the grow my dad(smoker extrodinaire) told me to put them on a 12/12 andwatch them go from there, they have been on a 24/7 for the first 2 months. $hit i hate work. Ill coe back to this

![]() | Listen to your Dad. Change over to 12/12 and you should see some indications of sex withn a week or two. The males usually show first.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | yeah, you won't see any flowering until you switch to 12/12. are you sure the plants have no alternating nodes yet? i think flowering between 2-3 feet with floros will be ok, but starting at 3 feet will yield more, but you'll need pretty decent floro wattage to provide enough light for larger sized plants. are your pots big enough? just wondering about the ones with growth only at the top.

I noticed you mentioned using foil in the area to reflect the light. I'm not 100% sure on this, but Foil would reflect light the same way a mirror would, which is Specular.. meaning when the light reflect's...it only reflects in one direction. A coarse white surface Diffuses light, meaning it reflects light in all directions. This is just a note from another fellow first time grower. I've also posted the link to where all this information can be found. Oh and GOOD LUCK! ~_~ http://www.josehempseed.com/groom01.html
