![]() | I planned to grow a small plant just for the heck of it, and made a set up under the desk where my computer is My plant sprouted exactly one month ago and has already reached more than two thirds of that height. I don't want it to grow much taller, and I can't afford to change the setup. So I wanna ask when is the earliest possible time to make it switch to flowering mode? If it stays in vegetative growth and grows this fast it is gonna reach the top of the desk in less than two weeks. What is going to happen if I leave it there? Will the grow tips tilt, will they get damaged?

![]() | your best bet would be to top your plants (prune them). If you cut the top nodes off (the top 1/6th of the plant) it will cause the remaining nodes to bush out for lateral or sideways growth ultimatley causing more budding sites, you should look into buying a grow book with pruning sections included. If you decide you do not want to prune, then start flowering buddy but just remember even with the strongest lights your plant could almost double in size! good luck! and happy harvesting
