Trimming roots while flowering?

I have six plants in a 14gallon rubbermaid DWC tub, and the root mass is getting pretty big. If I trim it up while flowering will it impede bud development?

im not toot sure dude, but that seems like it would be really stressful to your plants.

I would deffinatly not trim roots in flowering it will stunt grown and even cause death to your plants. This is a methos realy only done for mother plants and sativa's in veg!!!
