I am about 4 days into a 12/12 cycle. The plants are about 2ft, and when I look through the mag glass, it seems I am going to find it hard to distinguish between new veg growth and the sexing distingishing factors....when and what exactly should I be looking for?

If you see what looks like a bunch of grapes it's male. 2 white hairs like they're growing out your grannies nose and she's female.

Hello! I'm doing my first successful grow. I made half-hearted attempts in the past but my most recent endeavor appears to be going along quite nicely thanks for the most part to this site. I recently started flowering after five and a half weeks and now the plants are entering their fourth week of flowering. Check out my grow journal for more details:

I made the attempt to post pics and I did get a few good ones on the difference between females and males. The male pics were a bit blurry but in a nutshell if it looks like you're getting plump little buds in your internodes but there aren't any white hairs then you're porbably looking at males. Trust me, even though I'm new at this I had to kill 20 of em'. They were definitely pollen sacs I was looking at. Look for fine white hairs - at first you'll probably only see two in a spot. After about a week though I had little bushy white white spots on at least the top four internodes of all my plants as well as a main topmost cola. I need to find out about how long to let em' flower and when to harvest.
