Should I start again?
permalink

I hope this is in the right section (?)...

Now... i have two plants growing in an area about 1 3/4ft x 3ft. They are growing in about 30 litres each of sterile potting mixture. I have one 400wt MH apox. 1 1/2 feet from the tips of the plants.
The plants are aprox 2mths old and only about 15cm tall with 7 sets of leaves, with internodes comming up quite healthily....

My problem is that the bottom "real leaves" are starting to die off set by set, and the top ones are all spotty yellow... I am now down to only 4 sets (three sets have died off)...

Is this normal or should i start again?
The size and development of these plants compared to others i have seen is very slow, 15cm in two months seems slow to me any way...

I shall try and put up a pic in the next few days...

Thanx to anyone who replies....

Riley

...
Um... the pots should be fine.... they're about 30-40 litres... they started out in the same pot which was only about 2litres, i seperated them about 2 weeks ago... i am thinking i may have stunted them then...
anyway, i've decided to keep em going as i've gotta move in 3 mnths so it would be pointless starting again until then...
... I'm going to start using water from a near-by stream coz it's chrystal clear water, i think it should be heaps better...

Thankx for yr replies, i should get a pic up in a day or so....
