White spots?

Does anyone no why my water is causeing white spots on my plant?

It's from the precipitation of minerals in the water such as calcium and magnesium from limestone. You could use distilled water, which lacks minerals, reduce the pH of your tap water which will increase the solubility of the minerals, or just stop misting them. Keep using tap water for regular watering though, assuming you're growing in soil, those minerals are good.

Hey there,
My plant has got these small brwon spots on the leaves. they look like some sort of brown fine mist has been sprayed on the leaves.

Is it some sort of mold? bug?

Wish i could get some photos up 4 u 2 c.

Any help would b great....

Is it on all the leaves? Can you brush it off or is it part of the leaves?

Hi there Brindie,
The spots r like part of the leaf as if there has been some ort of nute burn but in spots.

After looking at 1 of ur links I have figured out y one of my plants has it's leaves curled up(Mg defieciency).

But this brown spot problem is really perplexing me. It is only really on 1 plant. All the others r pretty healthy.

Vinegar, pH down and phosphoric acid all reduce pH.

Reggiekray, have you checked your soil pH? Always rule out a pH problem before deciding it's a nute deficiency.

I will get on2 that staight away i have ph papers at work. I'm guessing that the pH will b 2 low.
