What is the smallest that you've ever started flowering a plant, and what size did it end up at?

I guess I'll start with my own response. A few weeks ago I started to flower a K2 plant which was probably about 4 inches tall. Super squat, didn't even have starting alternate nodes, about 6 inches across.

Right now it's about 2.5 feet tall. Bud formation on it is still a little sparse but that guy just sprang up from the dirt.

3 weeks from seed, less then 6" tall if I remember correctly, got to be 18-20" high approx.

It woulda turned out nice I think if I hadn't burnt the hell out of it.

4 weeks from seed, bag seed to be exact. it was a heavy indica and turned into a shrub! the trick to early flowering is having mega lumens on them from day one! imo

flowered from day 1. Had pistils by the time the plant was 12 days old.

it stretched to about 12" in 20 days.

Your right, grow #3 was a trip.
I started flowering my 8 Kali Mist clones between 6 & 8 inches tall.
The shortest one ended up at 30" & the tallest one finished at 45" & that was after topping it twice to keep it out of the lights.
The tallest plant would have finished at over 60" if I hadn't topped it.

Kali Mist is a mostly Sativa strain & I kept them under 12/12 lighting for 108 days.

I poped a seed into the same place where I got my 12/12 light schedule, it sprouted as normal but soon went t*ts up
Got to about 2" tall and by then the cotyledons were coming up 2cm long, a few days later it died.

Waste of time really but needed to find out

IMO, i don't flower the plants untill they are at least at the 4th week of veg from seedling otherwise yield can be very affected or unless i have clones that can definetely start flowering between 6" and 8" mark.

Do you mean from clone? So you don't wait for it to grow roots at all?
