thanks for the reply earlier. Anyways.......how would you suggest adding co2 to my setup, but without the use of an a/c. i use a 3500cfm fan to vent the room......it keeps temps down pretty good, but i think the fan will suck the co2 right out of hte room in seconds. i was thinking of running the co2 at night. but i dont know much about co2, so thanks againps......hate to ask this but could you post your feed shedule Last edited by nickdomingo; 02-19-2004 at 11:04 AM..

I wouldnt bother trying to co2 your room unless your exhaust fan turns off for long periods of time , like 30 min or so , but it probably doesnt. So dont worry about it. Your fan will suck all the co2 out of the room. And,Sorry ,I dont have my schedule handy at the moment. xbox666

![]() | hmmm.........what about if i put my fan and co2 system on a timer.......fan on for 30 mins, off for 30 mins. and have the co2 turn on when the fan is off. Or would it be better to have them swith off and on for an hour or more. just trying to think of anything that might work. How important is co2 to getting huge yeilds like yours?

Let's get the knowledge into the other forums. ![]() Nutrients go in the nutrients forum...etc. The success stories can be the attaboy thread it's supposed to be. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey nick, you are going to need a co2 sensor if you want to use the gas properly. In my room I have my co2 sensor timed to come on every odd numbered hour and maintain about 1200-1500ppm for 45 min. At the same time my intake and exhaust fans go off for the whole hour. I find that adding co2 to a grow room is like adding nos to an engine, if done right you will see a big difference in performance, but if its not used properly you will just waste your $.

![]() | you're definately right about it being a waste of time if not done properly. I have a co2 monitor but im just trying to figure out how to run it in my setup without room temps getting too hot. could you tell me a little more about your setup, thanks

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well I'll tell you everything about my system, my sensor is on at 7pm, 9, 11, 1am, 3, 5. It will stay on for 45 minutes and maintain a constant supply of co2. About 1200-1500ppm. Then 15 minutes after the co2 shuts down my fans come back on for an hour till the next cycle starts. My temps get up to about 85-90 deg. by the end of the co2 cycle. My temp. with the fans on is exactly 72 deg.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I am running 4-1000w hps bulbs. I use a tank of compressed co2 with an electronic valve that I then plug into my sensor. I have grown the same strain that I am now growing with and without co2 and the yield is about 20% bigger with co2.
