Plant Problems & Soil
permalink

Ok my 1st question is..."If I were to remove a marijuana plant from the soil, could that exact soil be used again to grow another plant"?

My plant problems are..."My plant is 15in tall and it is in veg. and about 4 fan leaves have died and falling off and alot of my other leaves are immature and the tips are curling up and I have accidently broke a stem, ripped off half a leaf, and tore a piece of one.

Should I go ahead and kill this plant and grow another one?...Please answer all of my questions.Thanx very Much!

Sounds like plant abuse to me! Seriously though, only you can tell if it's worth saving since we can't see it. Did you pay a lot for the seed? Got more seeds? Is there a chance it could still thrive and give you a bunch of bud in a monthe or so?

As for the soil, the consensus is to always use new, fresh soil. Not worth the risk.

You can do a lot to a plant and it will still grow. How old is this plant? Are you feeding it? The leaves could have died because it is rootbound. How big of a pot do you have it in? If you have the patience you could save the plant or you could scrap it. The choice is your's, but I would like to see a picture of it. Good luck.

I just want to say good job with so little light. I think that you will be just fine. She will be ok. Judging by the look of it in the pics, It looks big enough to sustain the damage that was caused. Don't go and have a Heart attack on us. You are on the best site for your hobbie, There is so much to learn. If the stemm is broken a little, you can take a straw, cut it to wahtever length it needs to be, now cut the straw lengthwise all the way from top to bottom. Position the straw over the same. Poof, you just made a simple stem cast! Good Luck, Peace

I just now planted another plant last night.I am going to start keepin a journal on my plants. At this moment have I have 3 plants in all growing...one is 15in tall and the other is 5in and the other hasn't sprouted yet.I will be trying to get more floro's later.I am thinking bout used a blue incadescent and a purple incadescent light bulb right now.The highest floro watt I have seen is like 32watt for one bulb.I wonder do they make them in about 50-100 watts...
