![]() | Okay genius growers.... What is "root bound"? Is root bound where the roots are at the bottom of your container, or is it where the "carrot" root is actually turning upwards???? My first grow I put my little tiny sprout into a gigantic pot.... not good. It was overwatered, and definetly ROOTBOUND. The weed was S-C-H-W-A-G! Not to mention that my humidity was way too low... aw hell, you get the idea. I just repotted three of my darlings, grow number three, and they had roots poking out of the bottom before I planted them in milk containers..... So what is it? What is rootbound????? Is it just having the roots poking out the bottom, or is it where the "carrot" type root is turned upwards??? P.S. my second grow was better, but not that great. I think that my genetics are all messed up, and I need to get some real seeds from a seed guy... ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Say, I ain't no genious...but, root bound is when the roots fill up the pot they are in. All the roots (not just the tap root) will curl all over the place lookin' fer h2o, oxygen and nutes. They don't get that from other roots. They get it from the soil. You'll know when ya get there...the plants require water daily and eventually the plant will begin to look lousey...droopy, burnt leaves etc. When they get to this point it's easy to nute burn the plants as well. Sounds like you have some swag seeds. Put those babes in 1 gal. pots then go to 5 gal. at flower time. You can generally sex them before goin' to the 5's. OP
