Question Paper cup for 3 wk. old root system??
permalink

Ladies and or gentlemen.....got 2 quick questions..

1. I just started my grow from seed and they are just breaking soil today (Sunday). I germinated in Paper towel and then placed sprouts in Paper cup with soil mix. I am leaving town for 9 days and will be trusting my significant other to water for me. Will 12-15 day old plant/root systems be OK in a paper cup, or should I transplant before I go?

2. Got my paper cups of soil in a starter dome under my 1k light at approximately two feet away. how long can I or should I leave them in the dome? I know seedlings like the high humidity, but when is a seedling not a seedling anymore? 5 of the 9 sprouts have popped through the soil and opened.

Thanks Plains....always respect your opinion, And James Bong, thank you as well, I uncovered them yesterday morning and transplanted them last night. Damn glad I did too because I was drowning the little suckers .... They are now in 8" planter pots and drying out a little bit.....dropped down the 1K light to about 18" off plants...Bet I get some good tap root growth over the next few days. Trusting my wife to water them every other day while I am gone for 9 days to Toronto....I hope she does not neglect these children of mine.
