![]() | hi. my plant has been growing indoors under a flouro for about a week now and ive been putting it on a 16/8 cycle. There is only one seed in this pot, but there is something wrong with the stem. The stem comes about 4mm out of the pot and then it droops and goes sideways for about 3mm. i dont know what to do or if it is just hnaging down and needs to flower and pop up straight.please help!! this is my first time

![]() | i dont know how to post a image, but i checked it after being outside and it kinda curves then gets straight, its gotten better. And no i dont have a fan, when its inside its either in a closet on floor under a light or on table in a tin foil wrapped container thing with light on top of that. i think it might just be the blooming process i ono

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | When its inside, it will need to have a fan blowing some air on it. As the stem and leaves move, they tear on a microscopic level and the plant then fills in the tears with new material. Sort of like when you work out and break down ur muscles. You need a fan on it until its hardened. And NO it is not blooming because it is not on a 12/12 cycle. 16 hrs of light will keep it in a vegetative state. By the way, you post pics by clicking "post reply". (you cant post using quick reply...well you can if you know the syntax of the pic url, anyway lets keep it simple) Click "post reply" Scroll down and look for "manage attachments" a window will pop up, click browse. find the file. click upload then close box. then, post reply. Its simpler than it sounds. But increase your lighting to at least 18/6 and get a breeze on that plant. Good luck and post back

there's a link to the grow guide in my sig. read it and follow it step by step, lots of useful info in there. 16/8 is not a good light schedule for veg. state. You'll need to put it on 18/6 or 24/0.

It's not a question of good or bad.... it's a question of what would be better. I think that maybe you dyslexically (I do it all the time ) reversed 18/6 to get 16/8. I say that because 16/8 is a strange light period. Most folks choose 24/0 or 18/6. The more light the better in veg. milagro
