I have a blueberry plant that's at about 35 days of flower. All the leaves are turning very brittle & bronze. The plant seems healthy other than this. The pistils are turning red, the bud is nice & crystally etc. - should I be worried? (Nutes aren't the issue as plants right next to this one are fine.)

Hey thanks for the input. I've had varied luck with these blueberries. Some have been perfect with aroma & everything, some have gotten tall on me & not done so well. Any other suggestions regarding the blueberry?

Post Tied over 40 days into flower...
permalink

For cheapbastard:

Quick question, I had three of my larger plants tied over for 10 days. I was told to release them just prior to flowering, which has only been 2 days so far. When you say tied over..... can a plant be tied over during the flowering cycle, or should it be let loose? I like the tying idea, as it keeps the overall height down, but don't want to hurt my plant's yeild if I do it during flower. Also, how exactly should they be tied down? I had mine tied with parachute cord, and a small padlock as a weight. Tied just below the cola. My plants that were tied took on an "S" shape. Any suggestions?

1 plant! CB I don't know how you do it. That's truly amazing!

Do you have a journal I can read on that one? I'd love to read that!
