What are my options??

Okay, here's the scoop. :-) I have a plant that I started from seed. The Strain is Cinderella 99. The plant is very vibrant and healthy and she's supplied me with many nice clones and the clones also have been grown to maturity by a friend of mine....SO, I've taken my mother plant and put her outdoors in the back yard in a 3 gallon pot. I'm getting enough light to keep it in veg...but, it's developing balls.....looks like it turned hermie on me. I would really like to grow a plant for seed and start doing a little experimenting with breeding. I love to learn by doing. I have the resources to segregate the plant from all of the others and put her under artificial light. I have some more clones from the same strain, different plant....I wanted to make a crop of these seeds as this is one of my Favorite strains. I'm not really concerned with seeds comming from a hermy plant producing more hermy plants....I'm just looking at this as a great opportunity for learning. Let me hear it from the Pros. You haven't let me down yet. Thanx all.

hey growerwannaB,

No need to worry! Hermies that self pollenate make feminized seeds!

You should get more females this way - just keep an eye out for herms. From watching marknliz's isis adventures apparently fem seeds can have this tendency.

That's what I was hoping you'd say.

I was hoping that that would be the way that it would work. I fully plan on putting a female with my hermy and letting them do their "thing". One more question though, does anyone know the process for collecting the pollen and what is a good container to store it in? Just in case I would like to do a little cross breeding in the future. :-)

No sh**. Is this what the seedbanks are selling for astronomical prices? I did not know this. I'm so glad I set up a clone op.
