hi im a new grower and gorwin for the first time i just got few questions about my babies..
so far i only have 2 babies and theyre about 3-4 inches
1st: i got my babies in about a 12 oz clear cup that i wrapped with electric tape because i read roots dont like light. i was just wondering how much theyre capable of gorwin in there. i was planning on growin um in there till they were ready to go outside.

2nd: ive been putting them on my roof to get natural sunlight and i bring um in when sun goes down so they dont get cold. is theyre any drawbacks to this? also would it matter if i give it indoor light sometimes too?

3rd: i accidently gave it a little tiny bit of ferts cause i read high p is real good for this stage.... but now somewhere i just read that u should hold off till 3 weeks or so. i gave them 30-10-10

4th: at what size are they ready to go outdoors?

thx so much for your time, and please dont respond telling me to read grow guides on here i have read each one many times and havent come across these questions.

Hello Gomo,

i)They really need a bigger pot, maybe double the zise as they should fill that out with rootmass pretty quickly Id say, of course dpending on their helth and general growth rate.

ii)No real drawback, so long as they dont get the ciritcal 12hr period of light they wont flower, Its agood way to habitualize them to the high UV levels outdoors also

iii) Dont worrya bout the fertz, if they start to get burnt tips then flush the pots heavily to remove the nutrient salts

iv) I would wait untill they are 10 or 12 inches in height, it depends as to the daylight period outside, if its around 12hrs of light then they will go to flowr real quickly.

Gomo, definatly add a breeze to your plants if possible. The wind stress will help thicken the stems and make em survivie better outdoors.

Another way to strenghten the stalk is
permalink

this is staight from the wonderful grow guides on here

"Bend a young plant's stem back and forth to force it to be very thick and strong. Spindly stems can not support heavy flowering growth"
