How does my setup look first of all....

I have 3 SSH clones and 1 NYC Deisel from seed.... the Deisel is a lot smaller than the other plants and has not shown sex yet.... The SSH are all about 3 ft tall I want to start flowering becuase I do not want the plants to get too big.


I used a 400 watt MH light and Fox Farms Veg nuts for 6 weeks....

Now I want to use my 400watt HPS and Fox Farms Big Bloom for 9-10 weeks

should i start now... or should i let the little Diesel catch up to the other plants???

hey purple... yourplants are really stretched out.. this is probably not the advice you want too hear .. but,

I would cut down your tall pplants to matchthe height of your diesel.. just make a load of clones.. 3 feet is way way to tall for a 400 watt bulb.. when those plants start to flower they are going to double in size and fall over... sad but true : (

the diesel looks like it need some fert!! something high in nitrogen..

really your best bet is to cut thos tall suckers down to about 12 inches.. (OUCH.. I know it is gonna hury) make a load of clones.. lower your 4oowatt bulb so that it is just a few inches from the canopy.. get a good fan to blow air between the tops of your plants and the light.... after you clone the out of yor plants..let the grow for 5-7 days and flower them..

3 feet is ridiculous LOL

ahhhh no dude thats mean im sorry man.....that always sucks but then again you havent really tried to learn yet. Always gotta research bro.....then again its my first grow so i shouldnt say much but it seems to be goin fine

uh i smack u arent you a bit inexperienced to be commenting as well?.....from my best estimation id say knowm is correct.....i dunno about chopping that seems a bit extreme....frankly that grow wont yield what it should. The plants are clearly stretched because the light is way too f u c k i n g high. Especially with that diesel plant being so much smaller......if he wants the diesel to grow properly he needs another light about 2 feet lower or forget it. Other than that hes got a cool setup.....i dont really like metal halides......next grow i think i might flouro/hps or just do another pure hps with 2 400 watters and like 12 or 10 plants.

no way, dont you be cuttin any of them...try looking up some lst methods. You can bend a plant almost to a 90% angle. That guy is wack....telling you to cut your plants in half

yes drastic to cut 2 feet off the plant.. but as yes said, those plants have no chance for a good yield the way they are...

chop 'em.. make clones.. and get that light a few inches from the canopy..

Purple.. you can actually bend a plant 180 degrees.. it just takes a few days.. but your plants are way to tall for a 400watt bulb.. even if you do bend them..
