Picking off developing seeds.
permalink

Would it be ok to pick off a few scattered developing seeds. The hermy pollinated my 4 females so theres a few seeds that I want to pick. Anyone done this before, and would it slow down or hinder bud production? Id rather not have them develop into full seeds and was wondering if I could do this without causing any harm.

I wouldnt advise doing that dude. Never heard of picking seeds out of developing bud. You would probably cause more harm then good.

Im not sure but if im wrong someone correct me. I believe if a female plant receives pollen from a male then the whole female plant can make seeds, not just in the areas where the pollen landed

Hi Stinky Ferret

This is really more of a growth question, so I'll move the thread over there.

Only pistils that have themselves received pollen can produce seeds. If there was much pollen floating around, then there's a strong possibility that there will be more seeds than you're seeing now.

i have to agree let them do their thing and you will have seeds for you next grow and you wont have to buy seeds but if you try to stop the production of seeds you can hurt you plant hope it helps you out
